Yesterday I won the first and only prize in a competition for making the best portrait of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands. Fifty other entrants had send in their works of art. The jury consisted of important art ‘connaisseurs’. The King’s Governor presented the award. It is a big honor for me.
Contributing to a special project in The Hague I have sketched a portrait of our Dutch king. The portrait is composed of 40 iPad. drawings. This fragment of his eye is one of the drawings. Next week the entire drawing will be exhibited. Look at ‘the making of the eye‘
