Macua woman

In South-Africa we met a woman with a face painted white like a mask, which is known as Mussiro. She was an immigrant. Especially Macua women in Northern Mozambique use it, not only because it is good for their skin, but the mask itself is considered beautiful. They also wear it to show they are true Macua.
