Today at the King’s Day reception in Coppet (near Geneva) I again received a lot of enthusiastic reactions to my king’s portrait, which is almost ten years old. It was a very pleasant meeting, the best in years.

Yesterday, Jacqueline van der Grijn and I had a successful opening at Esquisse Galerie d’Art in Nyon, Switzerland. It was busy and fun. Ambassador Paul Bekkers gave a beautiful personal speech. Some works are sold or in option. We still have three weeks to go until May 14th.
April 21, the exhibition of Jacqueline van der Grijn and me starts in Esquisse Galerie d’art in Nyon, Switzerland. The vernissage will be on April 23rd with an opening speech by ambassador Paul Bekkers. We will show a selection of recent paintings. My theme is the mountain landscape and Jacqueline’s the lake and sea landscape, giving attention to the threat of climate change. You are most welcome. The exhibition runs until May 14.
